A MESSAGE FROM COACH WENDY

It’s time for MARCH MADNESS! 


I'm not talking about basketball, however. I’m talking about the overwhelming feeling that shows up when spring starts to arrive. The days get longer (more light, yay!). The clocks jump ahead (lose an hour of sleep, bummer!). And suddenly, we’re thinking about summer. Don't kid yourself. You know it happens.


Even though warm weather is still months away, we start pressuring ourselves about what we need to change before shorts and bathing suits come out. We create stress where there doesn’t need to be any.

Let’s stop the madness.


March is a transition month, not a deadline. It’s also a time when mental health is front and center. So instead of rushing ahead, focus on today, focus on your mind and your body.


Ask yourself honestly: “Am I where I want to be physically and mentally?” 


If the answer is yes, keep that positive attitude and move Full Speed Ahead. If the answer is no, that’s okay too. What small step can you take today to feel better? What might be holding you back?


Pause. Breathe. Look around. Speak kindly to yourself. And remember: You matter, not the madness.
