SUMMER is here and so is the heat, sunshine and greater opportunity to be outdoors. Love it!
With that in mind, let’s talk dollars and cents. How’s your bank account? Wait…whaaat? Why is my fitness coach asking about my money?

The famous fitness guru Jack LaLanne once spoke about our health account. He said it’s like our bank account. “The more you put in the more you can take out!”
Over time making good financial decisions offers great advantages later, like a special vacation, the ability to have the things we want. So why not do the same with your health?
Our body responds when we use it. Our muscles respond to resistance and our joints to movement. Our heart and lungs respond to regular exercise.
“But I’m feeling winded, and it’s difficult for me,” you might say. Well, that means your body is responding so stick with it to become stronger, more agile, every day. Your health account is the greatest wealth you have. The steps you take today set the tone for the rest of your life. Remember it’s never too late to improve your fitness.
There is no easy button, however. Put in the work and you’ll reap the rewards. Do nothing and your body begins to lose strength, balance, and the ability to bounce back from an injury or illness.
Remember, aging will happen regardless, but what we can do is keep active to enjoy the years ahead.
This was not intended to be a June gloom message, but rather a June BLOOM. Do something every day and your body will respond. Now get out there and enjoy the summer and beyond!
