There is a time and place for floor work, but it’s not when it’s by accident! This is my message for October. No trick here, just a treat of having a worry-free holiday season (which is around the corner) where we walk confidently no matter where we go without the fear of falling. Now, don’t kid yourself and think that falling or losing one’s balance is only something that happens to older people. Admit it, we’ve all taken a spill now and again, but consider the more fit and stable we are on our feet, the less likely we are to fall and to suffer injuries when we do. And THAT, my friends, is why we spend time on exercises that not only make us stronger overall, but improve our flexibility, posture, balance, agility, and coordination, so we are prepared for anything that comes our way in life. Nature and everyday encounters do not care about our fitness level, so take charge. Don’t give your body a chance to fail you with a fall. Give your body a chance to fall in to fitness - forever.
