It’s MAY! Spring has sprung. The grass is green (I need to mow my lawn!), flowers are in bloom and I’ve finally decided to rearrange my wardrobe. As I move my fleece sweaters to the back of the closet I reminisce about what I did, where I went this past winter. Then, as I organize my summer clothing moving my shorts and T-shirts to the front, I think about what’s ahead.
Now I realize you most certainly have no interest in how I arrange my closet, but there’s something about shifting clothes around when the seasons change that I find relaxing. It's a chance to review in my mind what I did during the cold months of the year, while anticipating what's in store this spring and summer. This evaluation fills me with optimism and excitement. What say you? Will you take a moment to evaluate the year so far?
Whether you care about reorganizing your clothing or not, how about reviewing your fitness goals? How did you do over the winter? Where do you want to be going forward? Can you say "Yay it's May!"?
Create and/or stick with those healthy habits of regular exercise and good nutrition for that extra boost of positivity and you'll be fine.
