As we head into September and seasons change, what’s changing with you? Have you achieved or are you continuing to meet your fitness goal(s)? Was the summer helpful or hurtful to your health and fitness? Only you know the answer to this. But keep in mind, that just because you may not have reached a goal, does not mean you can’t still get there. Keep your eye on the prize and keep looking forward.
And while you do that? Keep things real.
Speaking of real, recently I attended Pizzafest downtown Chicago and what a treat. Soooo much pizza. Soooo many carbs! But you know what? It was an indulgence and I enjoyed it. I was not going to cry about it after the fact or lament that I should not have eaten that third (fourth) slice etc. When I returned home I was happy to have had the experience but I was ready to get back to my healthy routine.
Life offers opportunities and we should not toss them aside completely. Do embrace special occasions by allowing yourself the chance to enjoy them. Just keep things in perspective, that's all. If you indulge one day, then be ready and disciplined to cut back the next. Make smart choices routinely so when those special moments come up you can be smart about it while at the same keeping things real!
Do it for your life now.

This website is designed to help you filter through the noise. A place for information and education to support your decision-making when it comes to your health. While I don't offer how to do a proper squat or what the best meal plan is, I created this site to serve as a source of support,
motivation and inspiration.
